Border Design
Is your garden looking tired? Do you have borders which need improving? Are you looking for inspiration but don't know where to start?
A Garden is not static and after a while it will need changing or improving. You don't always want a complete overhaul but you just need a few changes here and there. Sometimes you run out of ideas or you are not really sure what is required.
Our Garden designer, Beth, is a passionate and keen gardener. You can visit her at the garden centre or arrange for her to come to your garden. She will talk through your requirements and find out what your likes and dislikes are. Then, taking into account the suitability of the soil, position and site of the area she will draw up a planting plan.
The EXTRA benefit of our service is that we will then place out the plants in a mock garden at the Garden Centre that reflects your garden at home. You can then come into the garden centre and view your plants in situ before placing your order. If you wish to change anything then we can do so giving you the garden you want.
Once you have decided on your requirements, we then deliver your plants, complete with a planting plan and you can choose to plant them yourself or we do offer a planting service for a small fee.

"Beth took on the brief for selecting and providing plants for approximately half the garden, including a woodland area. Charlie and Jo worked hard digging over the soil and digging in manure and applying mulch. New plants were chosen carefully, at all times in consultation with me and our gardener.
The shrubs that were planted last year already began to flourish over the spring and summer, and new, healthy-looking plants are enjoying their new home. Beth listened carefully when I specified my preferences and offered advice on the type of shrubs and plants that would work when considering aspect and soil and 'ambience' required in different parts of the garden. I now look forward to the final stage of planting to complete the garden - and to sitting outside in the spring and summer months! "
